Rachel Bonds’ plays have been developed or produced by Roundabout Theatre Company, MCC, Ars Nova, WP Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Atlantic Theater Company, The McCarter, South Coast Rep, La Jolla Playhouse, Studio Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and New York Stage & Film, among others.

She co-wrote THE BOARS’ NEST, starring Mandy Moore, for Audible and Fresh Produce Media. She recently wrote a short film, FIVE YEARS OUT, for Beyond The Barricade Productions, starring Tony Winner Lauren Patten and Tony Nominee Gabby Beans. She is currently working on the film adaptation of JONAH with director Danya Taymor and Slow Pony Productions.

Bonds is a proud parent and parent-artist advocate. Originally from the mountains of Tennessee, she is based in Brooklyn.
