Rachel Bonds’ plays have been developed or produced by Roundabout Theatre Company, MCC, Ars Nova, WP Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Atlantic Theater Company, The McCarter, South Coast Rep, La Jolla Playhouse, Studio Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and New York Stage & Film, among others.

She just finished shooting JONAH, the film adaptation of her play, directed by Danya Taymor and produced by Slow Pony and Black Bear. She also co-wrote THE BOARS’ NEST, starring Mandy Moore, for Audible and Fresh Produce Media.

Originally from the mountains of Tennessee, she is based in Brooklyn.
