Rachel Bonds’ plays have been developed or produced by Roundabout Theatre Company, MCC, Ars Nova, WP Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Atlantic Theater Company, The McCarter, South Coast Rep, La Jolla Playhouse, Studio Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and New York Stage & Film, among others.

She co-wrote THE BOARS’ NEST, starring Mandy Moore, for Audible. She is developing the film adaptation of JONAH with director Danya Taymor and Slow Pony. She will also be adapting for the stage ANNE FRANK REMEMBERED, Miep Gies’ memoir of her time hiding the Frank family, with director Rebecca Taichman, Linden Entertainment, and ATG.
Bonds is a proud parent and parent-artist advocate. Originally from the mountains of Tennessee, she is based in Brooklyn.
